	Frank R. Lautenberg United States Senator for New Jersey Senator Lautenberg was born in Paterson, New Jersey, the son of Polish and Russian immigrants who came to the United States through Ellis Island. His early life was unsettled as his parents moved about a dozen times while struggling to support the family. Lautenberg's father, Sam, worked in the silk mills, sold coal, farmed and once ran a tavern. When Lautenberg was 19, his father died of cancer. To help his family, he worked nights and weekends until he graduated from Nutley High School. Read More

	Bill Pascrell US Congressman William J. Pascrell, Jr. was born on January 25, 1937 in Paterson, New Jersey and has lived in the Silk City all of his life.  He was first sworn in to the United States House of Representatives, representing the Eighth Congressional District of New Jersey, in November of 1996 and was sworn into his seventh term in January of 2009.  The Congressman is married to the former Elsie Marie Botto and they have three children, William III, Glenn Martin, and David Joseph. Bill and Elsie are also the proud grandparents of William IV, Christopher and Megan Margaret. Read More
	Christopher P. Christie NJ Governor Governor Chris Christie has a deep affection and strong commitment to New Jersey.Born in Newark and raised in Livingston, Chris has lived in New Jersey his entire life, except to attend college. Chris and his wife of 24 years, Mary Pat, now reside in Mendham, where they are raising their four children, Andrew, 16; Sarah, 14; Patrick, 9; and Bridget, 6. After graduating from the University of Delaware in 1984, Chris attended Seton Hall University School of Law graduating in 1987. Chris joined a Cranford law firm and soon was named a partner. He was elected a Freeholder in Morris County, and served as Director of the Board in 1997. Read More
	Jerry Speziale Sheriff of Passaic County Today, the Sheriff's Department operates with greatly improved fiscal responsibility, which includes budget reductions and innovative programs that have reduced the department's operating budget by nearly 20 million dollars in 2008. Additionally, we have done this while working vigorously toward crime reduction, an effort that, according to the Uniform Crime Reports, resulted in a drop of overall crime rates in Passaic County by nearly 30 percent. 	John Coiro Mayor of Totowa
	Michael DeFrancisci Mayor of Little Fall Mike DeFrancisci has been a resident of Little Falls along with his family for twenty-six years. He and his wife Wilma have raised three children, Dylan, who is now the Port Director for US Customs in Aruba, Tommy, a firefighter and Marine (now in the reserves) who served in Iraq, and Dominque, who attends Passaic Valley High School. 	Mohamed T. Khairullah Mayor of Prospect Park Mayor Khairullah settled with his family in Prospect Park in 1991 as new immigrants to the United States. After his father fell ill in 1992 and as the oldest son in his family, Khairullah was forced to work to support his family before even graduating high school. Khairullah supported himself and his family during his college years getting his drive from the principles, of family, dedication, hard work taught to him by his parents. Khairullah ran for office in 2001 and became a Councilman in January of 2002. He decided to run for office because he thought it was the right time to move his community involvement to the next level. Read More
	Christopher P. Vergano Mayor of Wayne
	Pat Lepore Mayor of Woodland Park Freeholder Pat Lepore was elected in November of 2004. Freeholder Lepore is also serving his third term as the Mayor of West Paterson . Growing up in Paterson, the Mayor graduated from St. Joseph's High School  Pat and his wife, Linda, have been proud to call the Borough of West Paterson home for the past 31 years. Their son, Robert, is currently on active duty as a United States Marine, and they are very proud that their son has continued the family tradition of service to his country and community.
